Can anyone help with the following?
I have a Thomas Stephenson born around 1771, possibly Stanhope(?) married Hannah Vickers (born possibly 1774 Stanhope) on June 30th 1805 at Alston, Cumberland.
On the 1841 census Thomas and his wife Hannah are living with their son Thomas (born around 1820) at Saint Andrews, Auckland, Durham.
Thomas and Hannah are also the parents of Rebecca Stephenson born around 1805/1806. She married at Alston in 1831 Thomas Martindale. By 1851 Thomas Martindale and Rebecca had died and their daughter Mary Martindale was living with her Uncle Thomas in Durham.
Does anyone have any links or information on Thomas Stephenson and Hannah Vickers? I believe the family may have been Methodists and moved around from Durham to Cumberland for work?
