Hi,
  Searching for information of George Ed. McKinley born 1906 and his wife Renee ?? Who emigrated to Canada from Lurgan, Co Armagh, around the1940s.

What were George's parents names please?  Are you jot sure of the wife's name, you have Renee ??

Hi. Sandra,
              George's family was John McKinley born 1858 and Catherine King born 1867.
George Ed McKinley was deemed to have married a Scottish girl, sounded like Renee, they were off the brethern religion and were missionaries, when they went to Canada.

Wondered if they were the parents but the 1911 Irish census said all were born in Co Down.

Same address as on the death certificate.

Perhaps it would be worth an e-mail to Vancouver Public Library to see if they can locate an Obituary for you which may give details of children etc., (Give as much information as possible, dated address etc.,  which you should get off the death cert)

You're very welcome.  Canada has very strict privacy laws, so you were quite lucky George ended up in British Columbia and we managed to locate that death record.  Good luck with your enquiry at the library. Look forward to an update.

*Sandra*, took your advice and contacted the Vancouver Library, they were very friendly and helpful, and I got all the information I was after. George's daughter was called Rena, because of the dates, I can't publish the details.
