Help Needed re: Hannah Salt (1818-1857)
« on: Monday 11 November 13 16:27 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for the details of the parents of Hannah Salt (1818-1857).

Hannah was born in Barton under Needwood in 1818 and was christened on the 31st May 1818 in the Church there.

The christening entry states that her father was Thomas but lists no mother.  This is all the information I can find.

Hannah married Samuel Talbot in 1846.

Can anyone help me identify Hannah’s parents?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jill

Are you sure the baptism record doesn't name her mother as Hannah, as suggested in Familysearch's extract?

Oh gosh I am so sorry for some reason my eyes didn't see it!

Thank you avm228 for pointing that out and finding the siblings, might help me find the family in the censuses.

Thank you

I see the marriage took place in Abbots Bromley, so it doesn't look as though she'd moved all that far from her birthplace (if at all).

Great stuff.  Suggest you amend the thread title to add "completed" which will help the moderators in their tidying up efforts.
