one word ?? COMPLETED THANKS
« on: Saturday 16 November 13 19:20 GMT (UK) »
I have just finished transcribing a will and am missing one word

It reads " signed sealed published and ?????? by the said testator etc" can anyone work out what it should be it is probably quite simple but I cannot see it.

Thanks Steve

The usual words would have been "signed, sealed' published and delivered" in such a document, but  the missing word does look like "declared" which certainly makes a lot more  sense!

Thanks orkrad the guy that made the will was a solicitor so declared probably makes sense as he wrote and organised his own will

I'm 'late to the party', but yes, I saw 'declared' when I read that too.
