Hi looking for a great uncle.   Alfred Dobson  1884 .    he was a boot & shoe repairer in 1912 @ 21 Swanpool Street is in your family tree would be very gratefull for any info

Hi if it helps at all I think he was born in Runcorn, Cheshire, and married a Mary Jane Shaw Sept qtr 1904  Runcorn 8a 461

I think the year of birth 1884 is maybe not correct ie possibly 1881/2?

When you say you're looking for him ... he was a great-uncle so you know his ancestors; he was born in the 1880s so you know he's dead ;) ... ? Are you looking for his descendants?

The 1911 census will tell you the children he had by then, and after that, search for Dobson births with mother Shaw, born in Falmouth reg dist, Cornwall. There seems to have been one in 1913 and twins in 1915.
