The family tree you found would probably have been mine.

yes it was quite sad that Harry died so early after arriving in the USA  plus with a new born as well, must have been very hard for his wife to come back to the UK on her own with a nine moth old son.

There seems to be a few trees for this family  but no one says how he came to die so young
do you know what happened?
As you say it must have been so very hard for Clara to come back after giving birth in a new country only to lose your husband so soon after she must have been devastated.

Hi sandiep

As far as I am aware Harry died of Consumption, that information came from a copy of the Interment Record I was sent, which is why I am trying to prove that the attached headstone is of my Great Grandfather.

(Date of death, and parents christian names tie up, it was just the DOB).

having blown it up and lightened I am sure 1st date is 1869 and bottom one 1803

The botton date has surely got to be 1893 due to the fact that is when he died.
