1922 Thoms gives Mrs K Boland.

Mind you, he could have rented a flat in the house ... maybe she's his landlady ...

This was also once the family home of Harry Boland, Michael Collins friend/foe.
(it is the address he gives after his arrest in 1916 charged with 'Armed Rebellion')
I'd imagine 'Mrs K Boland' is his mother Kate

Hello,

I am also researching boarders at Mrs. Boland's house at 15 Marino Crescent. I wonder what you discovered about Henry Gillespie Landon's time there.  I do know of three other boarders there during the War of Independence and the Civil War, and am trying to add to the list.

Hello,

I have only just stumbled on this thread.  I am the great-grandson of Henry Gillespie Landon and the Grandson of Laurence.
The only record of the Landons' residence at 15 Marino Crescent is on my late Grandfather's birth certificate.  He (Laurence) was born in 1909, but, for reasons unknown, his birth was not registered until 1921.  The birth certificate clearly gives 15 Marino Crescent as the residence of Henry and Amelia in July 1921.
I can find no record elsewhere.  The Bolands' residence over this period is well documented, but in a biography of Harry Boland, I can find no reference to the Landons nor to a tenant.  It does however, suggest that Kathleen Boland was a tenant of a Mr Jennings who owned the property.

In the event that this thread is still monitored, any further information would be greatly appreciated.
