Victor Raddick Brampton died about 1925
« on: Wednesday 20 November 13 08:25 GMT (UK) »
Please could someone help with information about Victor Raddick.

He originally came from Austria and after marrying his second wife Catherine (Hohn) moved from South Shields to Brampton at the start of WW1. I believe he died there about 1925.

I came across an email from an Aunt who remembers going to Brampton to see Catherine and her daughter Annie and that they lived near Talking Tarn but this was after Victor had died.

I would be very grateful for information/help in trying to piece together this part of my family tree as I have just discovered that Raddick (Radic in Austrian) is a very very common surname and unless I can find his birthplace there's not much hope of finding any information of his life in Austria.

Thankyou again in advance.

Presumably you already have the UK census information and his marriage details?

Yes I have the other documents, is it possible to find if and where he was buried?

Yet again thank you for your help. As I'm new to this all advice is gratefully accepted.
