Another Jones Family!

John Jones is showing in 1871 as born in Gwernymynydd Flintshire in c 1831.He is shown with wife Maria given as born in Llanarmon Denbighshire in c 1835.They are given as living at the Black Lion Church Street Rhosllannerchrugog.

I'm struggling to find the corresponding family in 1861 so any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

They're in Mold in 1861. John's wife then is Elizabeth.

Thanks,yes I was thinking along the lines of things not being quite as they seem!I'm not too worried about the Jane not bring quite as in 1871,it seems they were according to later entries pretty flexible with given birthplaces!

Of course this Jones family is just one of literally hundreds I've looked at in the course of my research!

However taking the details of the 1861 entry,I found corresponding Jones births in the Tunstall Sub-District on Staffordshire BMD.The births all show with a mother's maiden name of Hughes.

Now looking on North Wales BMD for a marriage for a John Jones to an Elizabeth Hughes I am led to one which took place at Mold St Mary in 1850.

Is there any connection? Evan came to NSW Australia in 1884 after living in Festiniogg, and I think that Robert snr and Jane moved to Wrexham in the 1891 census.
