It might be a good idea to request information about him in the Hull Daily Mail explaining that you are researching the family history of the  Hudson Brothers from Hull & Grmsby.

Hi Treetotal, Thank you for that suggestion, I did not think that they may be willing to do that? I have found a number of articles connected to the family in the Hull Daily Mail, including some naming my Father (Alfred Hudson), I have a printout of Mon Feb 11th, 1946 he gave a lecture on "Hull's Fishing Industry" and other articles about Mr Tom Hudson MBE President of The Hull Fishing Vessel Owners Association, He was son of the late Mr Tom Hudson, J.P. I have printed out a number of articles, some of which have Photos of Mr Tom Hudson, I was hoping I might come across an article with a photo of Mr Alfred Hudson, (this would please me very much). I will try to contact the paper as you suggest and see if they can help, thanks again for your suggestion.
Kind Regards. :)

Another thought came to me overnite...... have you considered writing to the Royal Navy to see if there is a file on him?    The letter could be inclusive of some of the things mentioned here on the post ....   I am sure someone on rootschat would know a little about the RN request process, as I have never had to the need, my lot being RAF.....      just a thought anyways

 :)

Hi fastfusion, I now know why you have that name, you'r very quick at getting back. They were known as the Royal Naval Patrol Service (RNPS) and I do have a website for them www.rnps.lowestoft.org.uk and I went to Kew National Archives, but whether it is my inexperience or there isn't any record I am not sure, anyway I did not find any record. But I will try writing to The Royal Navy and see if they are able to help.
Much appreciate your efforts on my behalf.
Kind Regards, REDELF. :)
