I've included a link to my first post.

There is a birth of an Alfred David Walters in the Newtown District of Montgomeryshire in 1875.In the absence of other alternatives I think it can be safely said that he was the same one who was to marry Esther E M Samuel.

I'm also wondering whether he is the same Alfred D Walters given as dying in Norwich Norfolk in 1956?I'm wondering further whether he is the Alfred D Walters given as marrying an Amy Black in Norwich in 1928?

It looks like Amy Black was b Manchester Lancs but did her training in Norwich -and seems like she stayed there - so no Welsh connection found yet??

Thanks Suz,for in particular the info relating to Amy!I did find her death but the info showing her as a Midwife is significant in what will later become quite a saga!

Alfred D is showing with parents John and Sarah Walters in Penarth Glamorgan in 1881.In 1891 Alfred is a Lodger but his mother Sarah has returned to Montgomeryshire with her children.Among the children showing is an Ada Walters listed as born in Penarth in c 1885.

This Ada Walters is I believe the one who married a Charles A Brundle at Norwich in 1928 and I believe she is the Ada Brundle listed on Alfred David's Probate record!See her  death in Norwich in 1963.

I wouldn't know too much about the Charles A Brundle I'm afraid.I've now moved on to Amy Black!See Lancashire?
