John Gibson of Helmington Row

    Can anyone help with the following?

I have a John Gibson, born circa 1717, buried 24 April 1797, Brancepeth of Helmington Row aged 80 years old.

John married a lady called Jane, possibly Jane Bulmer on 1 May 1740 at Witton le Wear and had the following:

Jane Gibson bapt 8 Jan 1744 Brancepeth (of Helmington Row)
William Gibson bapt 26 Oct 1746
Ann Gibson bapt 9 Sep 1750
John Gibson bapt 4 Nov 1753
Joseph Gibson bapt 24 Aug 1756
Elizabeth Gibson bapt 13 Jul 1760

If anyone can help with parents for John, or his marriage to a Jane (and her ancestry) I would be very grateful!
