Rose McGall 1906 marriage
« on: Sunday 08 December 13 10:02 GMT (UK) »
Hi would anyone be able to look up for me who Rose McGall of Portglenone married in 1906. I just know it was a John . And possibly after where she was in 1911. I know her details before this. She had a son David out of marriage in 1900 .

Marriage registered Jan./Mar.1906 and groom was John Wilson.

I can't spot her in 1911 under Wilson- what age would she have been?

Is this Rose's family in 1901?

If so here's parents in 1901 (and son David?)-

Yes that's them ok . With surname spelt wrongly. I think she may have gone to Scotland . Her son stayed with the grandparents who raised him more like their son. Where she went to I don't know unfortunately. She was 22 according to the census in 1901

The Scottish 1911 census is online now so you could have a look for her there- see Scotland's People website.

There’s a Rose Wilson, aged 32, plus someone named John in Garngadhill, Glasgow in the 1911 census. That might be worth a look. (It’s the only match in Scotland, for a woman of that age, with someone named John in the household.)
