Bit late in the day but I attach a photo said to show David McGall (foreman of the Taggart firm of builders, Portglenone/Belfast) beside Bob Kane (Whitewell laundry manager).
This info is old and unconfirmed, and the natty hats and shadows don't help, but the man beneath the bowler hat does resemble Kane, who was well known.
What link - if any - between this David Mcgall and the "David Johnston McGall" born to Rose in 1900?
