Anne, thank you so much for your help.  If I can think of something else I need help with, i'll let you know.  I am just wondering where my Owen people are on that 1881 census.  I wonder if they could be out of the country?

Thanks again, Angela

Hello Angela,

Here is your Logan's in the 1861, census index for Kilmarnock,

Logan William, 35y, Kilmarnock, born Ireland,
Logan Mary Ann, 35y, Kilmarnock, born Ireland,
Logan David, 10y, Kilmarnock, born Neilston,
Logan John, 8y, Kilmarnock, born Neilston,
Logan Jean, 7y, Kilmarnock, born Neilston,
Logan Mary, 3y, Kilmarnock, born Kilmarnock,
Logan Jemima, 1y, Kilmarnock, born Kilmarnock,
Logan David, 60y, Kilmarnock, born Ireland.

David Logan, aged 60y, may be William's father, as I said this is only the index for the census, you would to see the full census for relationship's.

Judy's marriage in Neilston, in the earlier post is most likely the correct one.

Regards,
Jonn.
