One of the four ancestry trees descends from Grace's brother. Her full name is so unusual it must be the same person, however all their facts differ. One has a marriage in 1897, the others in 1895. Typo??

I have now looked at her possible father George, but in 1911 he had only had 6 children and all were listed on the census, apart from Grace. He could have made an error and counted only the children still living at home.
FreeBmd says they married in West Ham in 1895
The Benj who married Alice in Dudley was living in West Ham in 1891 but was back in Dudley in 1911.
One of the ancestry trees had him leaving England before 1911, going to Ontario, in 1905.
There are several Benjamins of the same age, so I think you will have to buy that cert. However only one married a Grace, and in West Ham. I would also contact the tree owners on ancestry as they may already have the cert and not posted it online.

There is yet another oddity, the odd sounding father was Hezekiah on FreeBmd, married to Emma.
Two trees have a son for Benjamin, with a picture of him, He also died in Canada. His marriage cert of 1924 shows his parents as Ben Shakespeare and Grace Sherlock. This means that this couple did probably emigrate.
Their daughter's birth cert, in Canada, gives the parents as
Benjamin Shakespeare and Grace Eliza Sherlock, so I would think this pretty conclusive evidence.
1901 with Grace says he was born in Dudley, so I would look at all the censuses with a Benj born there around 1864. None of the trees tie up with any born in Dudley. They say Dec 1 1864, but no births were registered then. The closest was March 1864, so perhaps he was born Dec 1863.
