In which case I think you need one of Thomas' marriage certificates to confirm his father's name and also a birth certificate to see whether any were born on the 2 Feb.  The Thomas son of William Henry and Adelaide is the more likely but it would mean that the death index birth date is wrong, not impossible but would need confirming.
