Thanks Jool, I hadn't thought to google the web for the children's names -There's actually a lot of information about them from being shareholders to mayors and getting OBE's! Very interesting reading.

Thanks Jool,

I've managed to link the Parker's, the Porters, The Coulthards, The Brows and possibly the Bells and Dalton's in to the family tree from the photo album.

I'm now trying to work out why photos of mr muller and mr north graham are in the same album and how they link to the family - the posts on the previous page by Mo show who they are but not why they are in the album.

Thanks for your help!

I still wish there was a smilie for going cross eyed  ;D

By the way Joseph and Isabella Mullers daugher Helen Elsie married the Rev. Henry Minchin Shore in 1918 and went to live Canada.  She`s back and forth on the passenger lists regularly.  She died in 1981 Not that it helps, but I was exploring all possibilities.

Another few mysteries to throw into the mix.

First, Graham Somerville of Kirklinton. I found a record to say he is possibly the son of Mr Christopher Somerville a farmer, Gill, Kirklinton, to Mary, only daughter of the late Mr William Baty, farmer, of Fingland. I'm trying to link William to Janet Baty somehow who married into the Coulthard family. Also, interestingly, THe Gill is where Mary Porter nee Coulthard live with her husband John.

Jane Dalton. Long Park. Scaleby. I did find a link with her somewhere. I think from memory her brother William married someone but now I cant' find him again!

Miss Murray. Horton.

John Irving Coulthard

John Sutton and Miss Sutton. Woodhead

Mr Walshaw. Schoolmaster. Scaleby.

Mr and Mrs Gibson. Longtown

Sam Wright. Labelled also as 'Samuell'

Mary and Lizzie Hind

I appreciate that this is a lot of work and only ask for help if you will enjoy it! There is no NEED to find these people, purely for me to link each persons story with their photograph in order to pass it on to someone who will treasure it. I also have many unnamed photographs in the album. Any ideas how I can find out who they are?

If you would like copies of any of the photos of people listed above, or of any of the others I have, please just ask!
