hello  ,this  is  my  first  post.i  notice  that  in  all  the  familY  names  mentioned,you  did not  mention  the  ;JOHNSTON  family.my  great-great  grandfather(george  johnston) was  born  in  Kirklinton  ,in 1805.The  johnstons  married  into  the  BELL  family.They  were  all  farmers and  spread  to  KIRKANDREWS;LANGHOLM;BRAMPTON. I  VISITED  THE  DESCENDANTS  OF  George Johnston in  LANGHOLM  AND  BRAMPTON  but  never  visited  KIRKLINTON.

Hi Sosh,

I have traced a family member, Joseph Parker born around 1853 in Kirklinton. He later lived at Low Row and was married to a lady named Jane. It would appear they had 2 children, Sarah Ann and Isaac although it would appear Sarah Ann and Isaac were half siblings.  You said you had photos of the Parkers...any chance you could post them? I'd be grateful for anything you know about them.
