Hello,

Goosnargh is in Lancaster diocese. The records are at Lancashire Archives.  :(

Heywood

Not much help I' m sad to say but now I'm also interested in this story :)

As an aside, Michael Davitt's story is very interesting. There is a lovely little museum dedicated to him in Straide, County Mayo and he achieved much from very poor beginnings.

Didn't see anything  in the newspapers mentioning them  - obits, etc.  It was only a quick skim through though.

Did RC priests leave wills?

Lan OPC for the marriage, lots of Lancashire BMD's on there but not these RC baptisms yet. They were just from Familysearch.
