Recently I transcribed the Baptism records of the Wesleyan Methodist circuit of Merthyr Tydfil, sadly it didn't include the period you are searching, my point is that these Methodist Ministers travelled round the area, visiting other Methodist Chapels and often Baptising the child at it's parents home, the area they covered was as far down as Bedwellty. best wishes Rowley
