Preece family, Treville
« on: Sunday 19 June 05 22:04 BST (UK) »
I have all census returns for Thomas A Preece, born Treville except 1881.

Could anyone please help?

1871
James Preece  38   Mason  Born Kington.
Mary Preece    35               Born St. Margaret or Michaelchurch Escley.
THOMAS A PREECE  12       Born Treville
James B Preece       10       Born Treville
Alfred A Preece         9       Born Treville
Harriet A Preece        7      Born Treville
Frances M Preece     5       Born Treville

In 1891 Thomas was working as a blacksmith and married to Susannah and lived at 26 Blue School Street, Ledbury.

Also please could someone tell me where Treville was?  It's not on my modern map and OldMaps could not find it.

Thanks in advance

To find Treville go to www.genuki.org.uk

At top right of home page is the search, click on that then scroll down to the gazetteer, type in Treville and it will give you an indication of where it is.
