Horsham marriage 1807
« on: Sunday 05 January 14 09:06 GMT (UK) »
Hoping someone might have access to the image of the marriage between, John Palmer to Mary Rowland, 16/9/1807, Horsham.  I'm looking for witness names & possibly the names of bride & groom's fathers.
Ancestry doesn't have it & my pr fiche doesn't cover the date so hoping someone has another resource,

Thanks Omega, yes that does help.  That's another thing, my SMI CD refuses to work on my Vista programme, oh how I miss it  :(  Probably time to buy a new one  ;)

Many thanks,

Jane

I've tried all that Omega & although it worked in the beginning it soon ceased to work & eventually gets stuck in the CD drawer  :) every time I tried to use it!  Funny though, I can use both my Surrey data CD's with no problem on Vista.  I think it's time I bought a new one as I think they have updated the index since I got this SMI CD,

Hi Jane (Happy New Year)
I still have similar problems with SFHG MI CD.  It was so much trouble initially I was going to return it, but eventually got it to work on one computer but not another.  There must be a programming fault somewhere, and I am sure I have read there are others similar difficulties.  Let's hope they rectify the problem soon, or revamp it and offer those whose CDs are still unreliable an attractive discount for an exchange.

Good idea Roy but I'm sure they have updated it since I bought mine which was ages ago!  Just looked at the CD & there's no date on it...I'll have to check the website,

Hi Roy,
checked the site & I don't think the CD has been updated as far as data is concerned  :( but did spot that Dell computers running Vista seem to have extra problems with reading the disc.  Guess what, I have a Dell  ::)
