Thomas and Isabella Yates, Shopkeeper, Friargate, Preston

First Child Isabella was born 1818- I cannot find her birth details. Thomas was a shopkeeper.
I also cannot find marriage details of Thomas and Isabella which would include maiden name.
Any help would be appreciated.

I wonder if Isabella  was baptized elsewhere although she married St John's Preston and
daughter Mary Ann Pierce 1848 bapt was at St John's
her sister Grace in 1861 & brothers Edward 1845 & John 1847 married St John's Preston
brothers Thomas 1848 St Mary Manchester, George 1849 St George Chorley, James 1856 St Peter Bolton and William 1866 St Peter Blackburn

Isabell Pierce pob on 1851 census is given as Higher Kellet?  Lancashire
Her widowed mother's pob on 1851/1861 census is Lupton Westmorland & Burton Westmorland 1871

What is it about name Isabella - have found another bapt. for this couple a son John

his baptism is on Lancashire Baptism marriages & Burials 1538 - 1812 but not Isabella's

father Thomas occupation looks to be husbandman

so it looks as if she the daughter of this couple

Just saying that the 1811 Marriage may be this Couples?

Bit of a problem this one if only Grace was born later so you could get her Birth Cert to confirm Mothers maiden name!

Familysearch has a Thomas YATES/Isabella PARK Marriage 1809 in Westmorland

And a Isabella PARK Baptised 06 Aug 1791 Killington, Westmorland, Father WM, plus BELLA Park Baptised 14 June 1788, Kirkby-Lonsdale, Westmoreland to JOSEPH/HANNAH

This one has me stumped.

I agree Trish about being careful and it possibly being the couple you mention especially due to the place of baptism for some their children.

and yes what a shame that the youngest daughter Grace bapt. 5 May 1837 wasn't born after Sep 1837 her b/c would have solved the maiden name!!!!

Thanks everybody for your replies, Reply one is correct with the siblings, Isabelle's marriage e.t.c.
John Yates 1826 was my Great Grandad.
 It is just Isabella's birth about 1818 and the marriage of Thomas and Isabella that I am having trouble finding. I will 'soldier on"".
