1876 (Jun qtr): Birth reg of daughter Bertha, Reigate district
1876 (25 Jun): Baptism of Bertha, Redhill
1881 (Mar qtr): Death of William Percival, 52, Reigate
1881 (18 Feb): Burial at St Mary Reigate of William Percival, 52, "of Reigate Union-House"
1881 (census): "Jane" (7) and Bertha (5) Percival are in Reigate Union Workhouse, Redhill. Widowed mother Ann is a needlewoman lodging in Mill St, Redhill.
1891 census: Bertha (15) in Reigate Union Workhouse. Others not found.

Hi again Ed, very frustrating for yourself and all that collaborated in the search, If only the pair married all would be revealed (Hopefully)!
Personally I think Sarah Jane is Jane though?

Also Redhill is Redhill not Red Hill, Surrey!
