No occupation for father or any siblings known.

On the passenger list does it look like they are travelling together or isn't that shown?
Is it too much to ask if anyone can check to see if there are any other Butler's on the same Ship.

 May   Butler  is  listed    directly   below  H Cooper    on the  list, and there's  a mark   which   could be a ditto   mark   in the ' where   did the  passenger come  from  in the  UK'  column ,  under  H Coopers place  of birth  ie  Birmingham, which   could indicate  May  was  from Birmingham

 I  also  noted in the US 1930 census (I think )  that there 's  a column that  asked    what  age  was  the  person  at  marriage .  and May Cooper  indicates    she  was 17

This is a looooooong shot.

sunflower, Do you know where in England, May's mother Mary Fisher was from?

I've been looking for a Mary Ann(e) Fisher born Tickhill, Yorkshire abt 1840. She was still single 1861 when she was witness at her brother's marriage (though darned if I can find her in the UK census). 

I know this is a stretch, but I thought I'd give it a go as I lost the trail of my Mary Fisher at the 1861 marriage of her brother Joseph. (Her other brother George Fisher (my 3x great grandfather) came to Canada in 1862.)

We know nothing about her parents apart from their names.  Still having trouble finding her in UK censuses before she left for Canada.
