Baptism Lookup Request - Kendal record Office

Hi All,

Would anyone be able to look up the baptism for me of Ralph Mitchinson (26 May 1733, St Andrews, Penrith)  to check whether anything at all is recorded about parents?

I checked on Family Search and the "Parish Registers for St Andrews Church, Penrith, 1556-1908" are said to be held at the Kendal Record Office.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

It's unlikely that any further info is on the original record - otherwise it would have been transcribed

Yes, you are probably right, I thought it was a bit of a long shot. I had seen the Family Search entry and was hoping against hope that something had been left out.

There's more chance that this is my Ralph than not, so will have to live with the fact that it can't be proved I think.

Thanks Rob, I'll have another look. Last time I looked I could see some records for st Andrews but they were for a slightly later time I think, I didn't find the ones which went back to the 1730s.  I may have missed it though so will look again.
