Frosts in Shropshire Parish Records

I would be very grateful if you have access to Shropshire Parish Records and could find information on the birth of JOSEPH FROST who married SARAH CULEY on 1st October 1837 at Eyton, Shropshire. Joseph's father on the certificate was THOMAS FROST. I have traced Joseph and Sarah on most of the censuses but then i'm lost.

You forgot to mention when and where Joseph was born (from the census entries that you have)

In censuses Joseph was born in Ketley and/or Wellington about 1818 though on Marriage cert in 1837 he was 'of full age'.

Thanks for the info. I have looked on the IGI and there is a Joseph Frost born in 1818 but the father is James and not Thomas as on the marriage cert. There was a Thomas Frost, on IGI, who was married in Brosely in 1810 to Sarah Grovenor but cannot find a son Joseph.

By coincidence I ordered the film of the Parish records for Eyton last Thursday at my local LDS. If you can wait a couple of weeks until the film arrives I can check it out for you.

One thing though, the film is Bishop's Transcripts not the originals, so there's probably less info recorded but it's worth a try.

Also, there's an Emma Frost aged 20 living with Joseph and Sarah on the 1841 Census. Would seem likely she was his sister although relationships are not recorded. can't see a baptism for her either on IGI.
