Reserved Occupations
« on: Thursday 16 January 14 17:30 GMT (UK) »
Someone asked about Reserved Occupations on a forum recently but I can't remember which of the many forums I subscribe to hosted it.
In case it was Rootschat I am posting this reply

I have today added a free download to the Anguline site containing the booklet Schedule of Reserved Occupations (Provisional).
It may be found on the free downloads page at
http://anguline.co.uk/free.html

Cheers
Guy

Thanks Guy for uploading this.  Looks like my grandfather, who was a Quantity Surveyor under the age of 30 at the outbreak of the war, was probably in a reserved occupation as a result of his Civil Service Grade.  Always wondered why. ;D
