Help finding grandparents birth certs

Hi everyone. I am applying for a visa to the UK and need my grandparents birth certificates.  I am having a terrible time finding them or even the correct info to request them.  Can someone help?  Here is the info I have

Albert Stedman b 20 dec 1888 ( this is the yr on his gravestone although on marriage license it says est birth 1892), surrey, england.  Parents: John Thomas Stedman (Steadman?) and Emily Elizabeth Driver

Ada Elizabeth Goss (seems somewhere along the line it change from White)
20 dec 1895, brixton surrey, england (not sure where this info came from).  Parents:  Luke George Goss (white??) and Ada Maria Page.  However This is her christening info:

I see that Ada gave her father's name as George Goss (& mother Ada Maria Page) on her marriage in Canada.

Presumably this is the family making its way to Canada (1 Mar 1906)?

You've mentioned the "White" surname - so presumably the hypothesis is that Ada's parents married as Luke White and Ada Maria Page, Willesden, 29 September 1895?

I see that he called himself Luke G Goss when he got to Canada & named his parents as Luke Goss & Sophia Goshawk. Birthplace said to be Brixton, 1 Aug 1874.

Confusingly there's a Jan 1902 Lambeth school admission record for an Ada Goss b 20 Dec 1895 - father Chas Goss! Even more oddly Florence was registered at the same school with the same birthdate three months later in April 1902.  In both cases the address was 142 Ferndale Rd (but the family was not at that address in the 1901 census).

A marriage for the backburner  -  There is a widowed Matilda Cannon in Kingston on the 1891 with a Son James who could be the wife of James Cannon - children born 1885 onwards so maybe John Stedman married Emily.  Maybe Emily Elizabeth is what he believed his mothers names were.

Ok, Alberts makes sense.  Born in Guildford but lived in Albury.  Ada's is a little harder with all the name changes.  And, yes the 1906 arrival in Canada seems good too.  Thanks for your help.

No, born in Albury - birth registered in Guildford Registration District (which I guess covers Albury,will check)

Ada's lot are very difficult!

Her father was probably registered at birth as Luke White, Sep qtr 1874 Lambeth.

Parents were Luke White and Sophia Goshawk (b 1851) who'd married not long before: Jun qtr 1874 Strand.

As Luke White he is aged 6 and with his maternal grandparents Joseph and Ann Goshawk in 1881.

He married Ada Maria Page (b 1876 Hampstead) in Willesden, 20 Sep 1895.

Can't find them and children Ada Elizabeth, Florence Louisa, George Luke and William Henry in 1901
