Its possible you cant find them because she came to Canada sometime before she got married in 1915, but I dont have any info when that happened either.

We've got the 1906 arrival in Canada. The White/Goss family should be still in London or its environs on census day in March 1901 as Ada and Florence were enrolled in a Lambeth (south London) school in early 1902 and their sister Sophia was born in London about then too - possibly as Sophia Rose White, Jun qtr 1901 Lambeth, though later records show her birthdate as 13 April 1902.

The family appears to have been using the name White when their first son's birth was registered:

Luke George White, Jun qtr 1898 Hendon.
Ayr: Barnes, Wylie
Caithness: MacGregor
Essex: Eldred (Pebmarsh)
Gloucs: Timbrell (Winchcomb)
Hants: Stares (Wickham)
Lincs: Maw, Jackson (Epworth, Belton)
London: Pierce
Suffolk: Markham (Framlingham)
Surrey: Gosling (Richmond)
Wilts: Matthews, Tarrant (Calne, Preshute)
Worcs: Milward (Redditch)
Yorks: Beaumont, Crook, Moore, Styring (Huddersfield); Middleton (Church Fenton); Exley, Gelder (High Hoyland); Barnes, Birchinall (Sheffield); Kenyon, Wood (Cumberworth/Denby Dale)

An Ada Elizabeth White birth was reg'd Mar.qtr.1896 Hendon (same district as Luke George in 1898).

Could this therefore be her?   If born Dec.1895 birth quite likely to have registered in the next quarter i.e. Mar - Jun. 1896.

I dug out my moms bc and it says my mom was born 20may1930 and for her mother it says:  Ada Elizabeth Goss age at last birthday 34, born in England.  So dec 1895 makes sense.

Father:  Albert Stedman, age at last bd 38, born in England.  This does not calculate if he was born in 1888 which is what his gravestone says (but would agree with marriage license)  Sigh.  Complications lol.

Many families waited to baptise children, it was more economic to have several baptised together.

That's a good find by Annette, I would say it's worth getting the certificate to see who the parents are.

The baptisms of Ada & Florence as Goss may have been in Bushey [far away from where the births as White took place] because of the name change.

Modified to add Florence possibly born Watford registered Florence Louisa White 1897 Q1 3a 639.
Seeking: RC baptism Philip Murray Feb ish 1814 ? nr Chatham Kent.

There is a shipping record 3 July 1959 Liverpool to Montreal that confirms Ada's birth date as 20/12/95, Alberts as 20/12/88 and Daisy 20/5/30  :)
