Problems with 1861 Census on 1837online

I have been trying to locate a family in Ramsgate in 1861 on 1837online but failed in all variations of a search.  The family in question is Thomas Nichols, mariner, age 30, born Ramsgate, his wife Mary Nichols age 29 born Acol, Kent and son, Arthur age 6 born Ramsgate.  I know from the 1871 Census that a daughter was born in Ramsgate in 1862, so why can't I find them in 1861.  Any ideas anyone?

Maybe it was mistranscribed - it is very faint

NICHOLS Thomas H M 30 - mariner - Ransgate
NICHOLS Mary W M 29? - Ramsgate
NICHOLS Arthur son 6 - scholar - Acol
