I believe these are the training camps that he went thro in 1941/42. This would cover small arms, explosives etc.
West, Alexander, Banham, Balchin.

could possibly be a code for deployment overseas?   (AG2B)  may  be the convoy he was on OR  code for a particular ship, possibly?

War Office Unit Movement may be the WOUM. My father's War service record includes this which usually coincides with him being shifted about.

AG2B: AG usually refers to Army Group. Trying to find out the 2B bit.

ITC: Infantry Training Centre. Typing in the numbers as well seems to constantly bring up Catterick, which was also an Officer Cadet Training Unit in the 1940s (Dad was there).

AG can also mean Adjutant General - a department of the War Office dealing with administration.  It was divided into sections dealing with different aspects and probably had reference numbers for its correspondence.

If "AG2B" was a convoy, then it may have been Alexandria to Greece, 1941 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Allied_convoys_during_World_War_II_by_region

Following on from ainslie's suggestion, I found this:
Quote
AG (1, 2, 3)    Adjutant General (1st, 2nd or 3rd Grade)
AGB    Adjutant General's Base

Maybe an amalgamation of both?
