If you search on Google Maps for Lusby, Lincolnshire then zoom out Alford is few miles to the north east

Kay

On the Old Maps site you can see maps of the area back to the late 1880's http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html

If you want a modern, detailed paper map of the area, this is the one you need.

http://bit.ly/1fjgRWB

Includes shipping from the UK, so it's a bit pricey, but a better level of detail than anything you'll get online.

There's a facsimile, black and white, 1897 map of Alford & surrounding area on Amazon UK - no idea if this is available in Australia.

(Edit: also this one which is at a smaller scale but will include Lusby which annoyingly is just off the edge of the previous map! http://amzn.to/1f5Zbgd)

P.S. I live about 4 miles from Lusby, so if you want any photos taking around the village please ask.
