Looking For Relatives Sibla Rebecca Hossack from Edinburgh 1928

Hello wondering if anyone can help, i recently purchased furniture from an old church in Fife. There was a beautiful table with a brass plaque with In Memory of Sibla Rebecca Hossack who died in Edinburgh in 1928. Perhaps someone would like to have it back. Thanks.

well she was born n Calcutta and was the wife of Buckham h hossack who was born Orkney. she appears in 1881 census onwards  as married to him but 19 years his junior. there do not appear to be any children with them in either 1891 or 1901 census

her maiden name was montieth , born 1854 and she married in Edinburgh on 27th july 1875.

though that sibla was born Calcutta sthere appears to be a line of them baptised in Scotland

she appears in 1871 as a boarder in brighton , sussex with a 2 year older sibling annie monteith - also born Calcutta.

hi - I am not connected with the family. I was just doing a little research to see if she had any children etc.

she did have numerous siblings all born Calcutta to a Duncan monteith and Margaret paul who married in calcutta
