Hello BridgetM
Unfortunately, on arrival at the Record Office, Chester this morning the Marriage Licence was recorded on the database as not found in the Salt Mines.
Previously, I ordered a Licence and this one had been water damaged when stored in the Cathedral, damaged beyond repair.
Sorry about this Bridget, but if I can help with anything else at Chester please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you so much, marthaannie, for going to so much trouble for me.  I really do appreciate it.

Hi

Septimus Machell's daughter Florence Machell b 1896 is my wife's Great Grandmother, she married a Ernest Elwell in Warrington in 1918.

I have only just started on my wife's Ancestry side so I only have Septimus and his wife Hannah Massy Smith and their children recorded.
