Most common names were Aaron, Francis, John, Thomas and William Millard

These seem to have been used by several Generations in the Family.

Sorry for not giving more detail :-[

Passenger lists rarely give home address details until later in the 1900's.

FindMyPast has 495 Millards travelling to Canada! ::)

Are you looking for anyone in particular?
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Australia?!?! ???
Thought we were looking at Canada?

There are 13 Frank/Francis Millard departures to Canada on FindMyPast.
49 including surname variants.
92 including those with just initial F.

Pleas be more precise!
When was he born? Passenger lists include the age of the passenger.
Did he possibly travel with family? Wif? Children? Parents? Siblings? If so, what were there names?
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

This Frank was born about 1885, I have been looking for a connection between his family and another who live in Australia. His parents were Thomas and Clara Millard and brother Walter John born 1895.

Sorry that I have no more Information.

Hi Muffin,

Did locate a Thomas and Clara in 4 Blake Cottage Reading Berkshire 1901 but the son born 1885 was Frederick Millard ? Have I got the right family  ???

Thomas Millard  45 Born Caversham, Oxfordshire, England
Clara E Millard  40 Born Bray Berkshire. (according to 1891 census)
Fredrick Millard  16
Emily M Millard  19
Walter J Millard  5
Daisy Millard  2
Richard Fisher  52

Frederick was still with the family in 1911 - Mother Clara was widowed. (Clara appears to be Clara Eliza Gyngell - married Henley - Sept 1884 - 3a 1022

Walter John Millard died March 1971 - Waltham Forest Greater London. Vol 5e Page 1025

That's the only family I can find, too?

Just to say the remainder of the family were all born in Maidenhead, Berkshire
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)
