Good morning
John Lately and Mary Whettan had a daughter Mary Ann baptised 3.5.1789 Poole and Elizabeth 16.9.1791 Poole.
John was buried at Poole 9.4.1842 age 87
1841 census Poole Strand St
John Lately 85 seaman y
And that's it,all I can find

buried at poole st james on 22nd june 1813 mary lately aged 50yrs could she be your lady ?

A John was granted a licence to collect oysters in 1822 which fits with being a seaman:

There are Lately going back hundreds of years in Poole, but the only wills are older (although John Lately, seaman of Canford Magna who died in 1656 might be interesting as Poole was part of Canford for a long time).
