Your transcription is very slightly wrong:
Richard Faragher- Head - Widow - 82 - Formerly Farm Labourer - Rushen.
Richard Faragher- Son - unmar - 57 - Formerly House servant - Rushen.
Eleanor Faragher- Daur - unmar - 51 - Nurse Domestic - Rushen.
Isabella Corkill - Grand daur - unmar - 21 - Attending Invalids - Rushen.
My guess is the Isabella worked attending invalids rather than was attending her g-father. Maybe she worked with her aunt.
Richard and Eleanor are most likely the children of Richard Faragher and Isabella Harrison (check IGI for details, including baptism of Isabella Faragher who you think is the one that married John Gates - NB: I have replied to that posting also).
In 1871 Ancestry had them transcribed as Taragder!
Living in Rushen, Address: Strandhall Roade (? hard to read ?)
Richard Faragher, Head, Mar, 72, Farm lab, Rushen
Isabella, Wife, Mar, 72, Rushen
Richard, Son, Unm, 47, Formerly domestic servant, Rushen
Elinor, Daur, Unm, 42, general servant, Rushen
Isabella Corkill, G Daur, 11, scholar, Rushen
William Corkill, G Son, 7, scholar, Rushen
1861
Living in Rushen (sorry I couldn't read the address, it starts with G and loooks like Grimnia???)
Richard Faragher, Head, Mar, 62, Agricultual lab, Rushen
Isabella, Wife, Mar, 62, Rushen
Richard, Son, Unm, 38, Valet, Rushen
John Corkill, Son-in-law, Mar, 21, Joiner, Rushen
Ann Corkill, Daur, Mar, 20, Rushen
Isabella Corkill, G Daur, Un, 1, RUshen
Which I think confirms that this is Richard Faragher and Isabella Harrison. There are 7 children listed on the IGI and they all match these census entries. I would definitely check them out in 1841 & 1851 via Brian Lawson to see if Isabella can be confirmed as your Faragher who married Gates.
Cheers,
Ruth
