? What happened to John DENSON

Hi,

I am trying to find out what happened to John DENSON. He was born in the Dec Qtr 1902, Chester v.8a p.405. He is living at No2 High St., Saltney, Nr. Chester in 1911, with his parents Richard & Martha, and his 8 siblings.

We cannot find a marriage or death for John, and it is believed that he may have died around 1920's/30's.

Hi Brian,
Although John would have been about 19 at the time this is a possible marriage.
1921 Stockport 8a 281 Sep Qtr.
You could order a copy of the marriage certificate from GRO, but ONLY give the full name of the groom, the Registration district, year of marriage, and finally his age. If this not your John's marriage, GRO will refund your £9.25.
It would be prudent to check the 1911 Census for him as it may reveal more information.

there is a John Thomas Denson on this site   http://www.cwgc.org/
...it is those who died in the armed services
although it is AFTER the end of WW1 - he may have died of his injuries a year later ??
I only looked on this site because a lot of young men signed up for WW1 when they were too young - did John Denson ?...he would have been about 16 when he joined if he was born 1902

Although within the borough of Stockport now - it says Bredbury was a small suburban town within the Stockport area...so may have been a little village at the time ??
