Messingham marriage 1755
« on: Saturday 22 February 14 17:14 GMT (UK) »
Hi, found a marriage on Familysearch site between William Templeton and Eleanor Foster at Messingham (in North Lincolnshire, I believe) in 1755.
The William Templeton in my tree was a tailor, born about 1735, and later had children Mary (1756) and William (1762) while being a tailor in South Lynn, Norfolk.

Does anyone have marriage records for this parish at that time, because hopefully they would include the grooms occupation.
Any other thoughts on this family would be appreciated.
Thanks, John

Many thanks for the speedy reply JJ. I'll have to clean my glasses.

Oh well, back to searching for my tailor.
