Sorry - keep thinking of extra things to add that I had found out: Mary's brother Thomas (son of Jonah) married Elizabeth King in Turvey 1813, and a potential child Jonas bap to Thomas and Elizabeth in Carlton in 1819

To clarify: The two other siblings of Thomas 1752 I am sure of are Elizabeth and Israel as both parents clearly listed in their baptism records in Harrold as Thomas and Rebecca, just like Thomas's bap record shows as do Jonah's and Ann's. The other two are just possibles: Mary was made an apprentice in Harrold to William Hays, lacemaker in 1770, making her the right age to be a sibling. Robert is more tenuous, he was bap in Farndish 7 miles from Harrold in 1749, father is Thomas, no mother named.

Also I have a record for Thomas Wooding m Rebecca Wersely (Wesley I believe looking at the other people there at the time) in 1743 in Odell. This potentially being the father of Thomas, Jonah etc

The Odell marriage on 21 Nov 1743 says Thomas Wooding was from Harrold to Rebecca Wersley of Odell. There's a baptism of Rebecca daughter of William & Sarah Wesley, grasier in Odell on 30 May 1717. In Harrold there is burial of Thomas Woodin, woodman, on 24 Jan 1803 aged 85 years so makes him born 1718 - so it could be him. Burial of Rebecca wife of Thomas Wooding labourer on29 Jul 1788.

Thomas & Rebecca Woodhin/Woodin/Wooding baptised children in Harrold including Jonah on 21 Oct 1744, Ann on 22 May 1748, Elizabeth on 2 Feb 1749/50, Thomas on 5 Apr 1752 & Israel on 27 Jun 1754

I wonder if Mary Woodens had died by 1811 when the will was written - quite possible as her last potential offspring I have found is 1809

Mary Wooden (now Mrs Joseph Smith) was still alive & well in 1811.

We suspect this is the Mary Woodens who married William Smith at Sharnbrook on 5 Dec 1793 parents of Joseph Smith 1801 shoemaker who is on 1841 census with Mary Smith b 1776 & also parents of Robert Smith shoemaker 1809 who is on 1851 census in Bedford with widow Mary Smith b 1774 Harrold. It's the same Mary & this is backed up by Joseph's daughter Susannah (b 1828) being with Robert Smith in Bedford on 1841 census. A Mary Smith age 77 was buried in Bedford St Pauls on 8 Dec 1851.

Yes you are right - duh- she is where I come up the tree, I have that same info! ...I was just pondering why she wasn't mentioned in the will but brother Thomas and wife Elizabeth were... but she was alive as you say...hmmm

Thomas bap 1 Jan 1718 Harrold to William and Ann had brother Jonas bap 1716 and brother Jonah bap 1722, so consistency of family names here. Also a sister Thomasin bap 1718
also baptisms Harrold for
Ann 1730
William 1732
Thomasin 1734

Possibly a John 1720 and a Judith 1724 too, though I can't find their records right now on Ancestry - I came across them on FS the other day

Bit more progress:

William Woodin Bap Carlton 1691, parents John & Sarah

John Woodden m Sar Heirs or Heynes 1689 carlton

Regarding Ann Woodin marrying Turvey 1749, I think she must be one of the Turvey Woodins (as opposed to the Harrold/ Sharnbrook/ Carlton ones)  they seem to be some cousins as they go right back to the 1670s in Turvey and continue in quite large numbers... I suspect they join up even further up the tree :)

Really not sure about this one, but there was John Wotone (father Richard -not a name used for any of John's children) bap Harrold 1671
