Thanks Keyboard86
I have been looking for George for 6 years , never thought about Lowe without the E.
George did have a sister named Sarah born 1859 , but also another sister Emma born 1861.
Maybe after the census was taken. On both George and Emma marriage certificates their father was William deceased . I don't want to jump to conclusions but the census you have found does feel right , now to check it out.

Hi again, searching for George post 1861, was his occupation a Malster, and possibly married twice, and living in Newark?

OK can see from your Connolly thread for Joseph/Sarah/Sarah you must have the same findings as myself re the possible remarriage of Sarah Lowe to Joseph Connelly/Conaley etc! Emma marries a Robert Manterfield in 1881 occ Malster

Census for 1881 George RG11/3375/65/33 Joseph/Sarah RG11/3375/64/32 Emma RG11/3375/65/34

Hi Keyboard86
Sorry I haven't got back to you , everything you have wrote is correct with what I have found . Yes George Lowe was married twice . To Lucy Coy in 1875,then Lois Carlisle in 1881 . I have been to West Bridgeford library near Nottingham to look for George and Sarah birth 1857 and 1859 , George mother and father marriage and also George father William death in St Mary parish Nottingham but could not find anything . Come to a bit of a dead end

Still trying but hampered by a misfunctioning search facility! How/when did at 43ish but 55 in 1881, Sarah become a Mrs Lowe?

1871 for George/Emma/Sarah jnr
