Ernest Tailford - 1895 Marriage

Ernest Tailford's marriage was registered in North Bierley Q4 1895 (9b/380a).
His wife was an Annie (c 1875, Shipley). (1901/1911 censuses)
However Ernest's name is added in writing to the Original BMD document and I'm unable to locate  Annie's maiden name.

Any help appreciated  :)

(I realise I can buy one of the children's BCerts, but my "To Get" list is looong enough already)  :P

Have you tried searching FreeBMD for an Annie married in the same district, same quarter, same volume number?

Annie Scott did get married Q4 NB, page 380, but whats throwing me is that there are two males (neither of which is Ernest) and two females already on the page

Perhaps one of the male names was an alias for Ernest, or there was some error on the registration which later had to be corrected (the "a" after his page number is indicative of an amendment).

Later records show that Albert Edward Wells was married to Mary Elizabeth Brearley, so you can match those two to one another.
