Great mystery to solve - boy's names are Gordon, father is Shaw, grandparents are Boyden.

Hi again, Joseph Shaw Gordon b c 1866 Chipping Norton Oxfordshire is with parents James & Fanny plus siblings with Beacham/Beecham middle name at 4, Bedlam Street, Chesterfield in 1881

Hi a James Beacham Gordon married a Fanny Shaw Sept qtr 1861 Chipping Norton 3a 885
And his death is James Beacham Gordon June qtr 1895 Chesterfield 7b 374 aged 65

On 1871 RG10/3610/29/8

And a Joseph Shaw Gordon looks to have married a Mary Ellen Boyden Sept qtr 1887 Chesterfield 7b 905
And possibly remarried March qtr 1914 Chesterfield 7b 1057 to Ellen A Kennedy, from the Derbyshire records, Joseph Shaw Gordon married an Ellen Amy Kennedy 1914 Holy Trinity,  Chesterfield.

A Joseph Shaw Gordon occ Trooper rating 28996 served with 11 Company (Yorkshire Dragoons 3rd Battalion, Imperial Yeomary in the Boer War

Mary b c 1869 is a married Char Woman in 1901 visiting a Police Station in Chesterfield?

Shown on the 1891 with Joseph & Mary, is a Millicent, this is her death:-

 I think I was thrown by thinking father's surname was SHAW, rather than it being his middle name.  :-[

It all fits together nicely.

Boys being in an industrial school is a bit of a mystery. Maybe they were sent away when father remarried. Not sure how dates fit in though?  :-\
(Am on ipad at the moment and do not like it for rootschatting, so may have missed something)
