Anc tree shows a Cpt John Acton Gurney born 21 February 1931 - Fort William, Thunder Bay Dist., Canada passed away 17 February 2013 - Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Sister Ruth and husband Joe Belanger were living at 341 Balsam Street, Port Arthur, Ontario on the Canada Voters List 1963.
Also Ruth was at the same address in the Voters List 1972 - with a Randy Belanger - papermill worker.  Ruth was also listed in Canada Phone and address directory for 341 Balsam Street in 1995

Merritt Armitage (husband of K nee Gurney - see obit)

The Chronical Journal -  Wednesday, March 12, 2003

Mr. Merrit Armitage age 79 years, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday March 11, 2003 in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital-P.A. Site following a brief illness. Born in Port Arthur on August 22, 1923, Merrit was a lifetime resident of the area etc etc

Thelma and John McMillan (both deceased) were on the Voters List 1974 - 58 Park Crescent Thunder Bay Ontario. - John was a contractor

Obit - Monday, March 7, 2005

In loving memory of Thelma McMillan, age 70 years, who passed away in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre following a brief illness etc etc

A memorial funeral service to celebrate the life of Thelma McMillan will be held Wednesday, March 9th at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Church with Rev. Ross Lockhart officiating. Interment of ashes will take place in the family plot in Thunder Bay at a later date.
