Mauclerk Surname Origin
« on: Monday 17 March 14 12:33 GMT (UK) »
I have seen the surname Mauclerc (Mauclerk) in English medieval docs, and am interested to know its origins. I'm guessing Flemish as I'm aware of the fairly common Belgian surnames of Leclercq and De Clercq.
Can anyone help?
Cheers,
Bob
