William Williams of Llwyngwilim, Township of Bronllys, Llanbister
« on: Saturday 05 April 14 04:57 BST (UK) »
Seeking any information (other than 1841 and 1851 census) on WILLIAM WILLIAMS of Llwyngwilim, Township of Bronllys, Llanbister. Particularly trying to prove whether he is the father of DAVID WILLIAMS (c1808-c1874 of Llanbadarn Fynydd - see previous post). There seems to be a lot of William Williams in the area. He may have married twice. First to a Sarah (Pryce?) in Llanbister in 1789 (mother of David and his other children?) and then again to an Elizabeth (is it to Elizabeth Bufton at Beguildy? in 1816 or 1826 - depending on which record I access). Would love to know when and where William and Elizabeth Williams are buried and whether they are in fact even in my line. Edward Wilding Williams (1836-1914) son of DAVID WILLIAMS (c1808- c1874) and JANE WHILDING (c1806- c1883).
