
Hi MarP, nice to hear from you again, those paper are his militia paper i beleive,
his service records with DLI did not survive { iv'e been told }
It's amazing i didn't think to look into wether he married during the period of enlisting in
1904 and war breaking out 1914.
Iv'e sent an e-mail to our Stockton registery asking if the father's name is William
{ should say deceased } and hopefuly J W McIntosh's occupation will be either
soldier or joiner.
Would thier be a death date for his father William McIntosh, he only appears on the 1881
census and just dissapears.
I havn't forgot the great work you and Heywood did with my Murphy/Purtle ancestors.
