Aberclwyd in Derwen

Hi everyone,
From newspaper items dated between the late 1870's to 1880, I know that the house called Aberclwyd was situated in Derwen, Denbighshire.
I have a name - Charles Wood, who was  living there during that period. My interest however is in the house, and I cannot find any mention of it in the censuses for Derwen between 1870 and 1911. (Aberclwyd is still there, today)
Any advice on where I can now look?

At least in 1901 it appears to be unoccupied. Lawrence Morrison age 72 b Lancashire Liverpool was living next door at Parc Bach (Barn)  RG13 Piece 5229 Folio 40 Page 9

Edit - It seems to be listed as Aber Clywd and in 1891 is occupied by Ann Parker 84, her sister Catherine 82 both from London and two servants. RG12 Piece 4622 Folio 33 Page 1.  Try looking at the actual images for the parish of Derwin for each census

If Aber Clwyd is the right house then the same family seem to be living there in 1871 as in 1891. I can't see the house in 1881

Searching for Aber Clwyd on Welsh newspapers online gives some more searches - mostly inovlving John Stephens Esq, of Aber Clwyd and Southport circa 1904-19.

Also a "To Let" ad from 1899

this seems to follow the death of Miss Parker whose effects were auctioned off in 1898

Many thanks to Kay99, and Mabel for information and tips.
I know that in Dec 1880 the tenant left Aber Clwyd for Paignton, and some of his property was also auctioned. The house was then advertised to let in June 1881, and was probably empty at the time of the 1881 census. Mabel, which newspaper from 1899 shows the "to let" notice? I'd like to get a copy.
